## Ethernet Performance Tests with iPerf3

### Running a TCP Test for 30 Seconds

To execute a TCP performance test for 30 seconds, use the following command:

```bash
iperf3 -c <IP_ADDRESS_OF_IPERF_SERVER> -t 30
```

### Running a UDP Test for 30 Seconds

To execute a UDP performance test for 30 seconds with 2 parallel streams and unlimited bandwidth, use the following command:

```bash
iperf3 -c <IP_ADDRESS_OF_IPERF_SERVER> -u -t 30 -P 2 -b 0
```

### Setting Up the iPerf3 Client and Server

1. **iPerf3 Client (on Host/Target):**
   * Start the client by running:

     ```bash
     iperf3 -c <IP_ADDRESS_OF_IPERF_SERVER>
     ```
   * Obtain the IP address using:

     ```bash
     ifconfig
     ```
2. **iPerf3 Server (on Target/Host):**
   * Start the server by executing:

     ```bash
     iperf3 -s
     ```

Ensure all necessary network configurations are in place before starting tests.
