{% hint style="info" %}
The device tree and platform files use the name `mt8391`. That is MediaTek's platform name for this family, which the Genio 420, 520 and 720 share, so the same SDK covers all three. The SoC fitted to this product is the MT8371LV.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This documentation describes carrier board revision **R02**. Earlier revisions differ in three places that affect software: the I2C0 pull-ups, the NFC power enable GPIO, and the speaker amplifier. See [FAQ & Troubleshooting](/yocto-developer-guide/getting-started/iot-800n-g420/faq-and-troubleshooting.md).
